Inštitút priestorového plánovania

The Inštitút priestorového plánovania is an organization active in the field of spatial planning and regional development which was established in 2001 as a civic association.

Its main working areas include urban planning, spatial and regional planning, architecture, ecology and environmental protection as well as geographic information systems (GIS).

Implemented international projects: DONAUREGIONEN+ (2009–2012), TransHUSK (2012–2014), Transhusk Plus (2014–), CBCs in the Danube Region (2014).

The main output of the previous projects is the established online web-based tool to support regional decision making. The following analyses were elaborated with the help of the system: Evaluation of the Settlement Environment of Bratislava; PHSR BSK 2014–2020; Background Analysis for the Partnership Agreement of Slovakia 2014–2020; Study Plan for the Evaluation and Monitoring of the ÚPN NSK using the results of DONAUREGIONEN+, etc.


Nyugat-Pannon Terület- és Gazdaságfejlesztési Szolgáltató Nonprofit Kft.

West-Pannon Regional and Economic Development Nonprofit Ltd has been founded as a daughter company of the state-owned West-Pannon Development Holding ZRt. The mission of the nonprofit Ltd, which is still majority-state-owned, is to support the initiation and implementation of cooperation-based regional and economic development processes in the West Transdanubian Region. Its aim is to strengthen networking among the region’s municipalities, enterprises and NGOs at small-regional, county and regional levels, increasing the efficiency of development programmes and improving the effectiveness of preparation activities for the 2014-2020 planning period. Among our highest priorities is establishing the system for high-quality professional service activities based on the harmonisation of the aspects and methodologies of territorial and rural development.

The aim of GYSEV Zrt. is to be a regional transport company in Western Hungary and Eastern Austria that offers passenger-focused and integrated services and develops dynamically. The company considers its main task to strengthen the role of public transport, to offer quality passenger transport services that correspond to the needs of the region, to continuously develop its products and to enable interoperability  between the different transport sectors by ensuring complex services.
